Moving to Chile (hopefully!) (Santiago de Chile)

Hi everyone!

I'm Maddy, and I'm hoping to study abroad in Santiago next year. I'm just trying to research as much as I can to back up my application.
As you can imagine I have tons of questions! I'd really like to know what the university scene is like there, as well as if it's easy to meet people and make friends. I'd also be interested in teaching English and possibly borrowing people for linguistic research...
If anyone could tell me anything about the city and general Chilean culture, logistics etc. I'd be more than grateful.
