Moving to Santiago with young children (Santiago de Chile)

Hello Expats in Santiago
We are a British family currentlyl living in the Dominican Republic. I am relocating to Santiago in July with my husband and 4 children aged Protected content . I will be working as an English teacher. My work is based in Provedencia and Las Condes. We are trying to find a place to live. I think we will probably have to live in a cheap hotel/serviced apartment for the first couple of weeks until we orientate ourselves. Can anyone recommend a nice, family friendly neighbourhood that will allow me easy access to work? Your inside information will be greatly appreciated.
