Permiso de trabajar while visa en tramite (Santiago de Chile)

Hi everyone,
I sent my solicitud for visa sujeto a contrato off 4 weeks ago, asking for the permiso de trabajar while the visa is en tramite. I still haven't heard anything and my employer would need the RUT for the taxes.... How long does it usually take to get the permiso? Cause if the whole process takes 2 months, soon it's not going to be worth it anymore.... Any experiences?
