Ski Lodge Administrator (Santiago de Chile)
AndesVive lodge is looking for an Administration Manager to become part of our growing Farellones-based mountain ski lodge.
This role is full time from 15th May-15th October based in Farellones,
Part time (approx. 2 days a week) rest of the year from home/Santiago office
AndesVive is a lodge composed of 4 cabanas to be rented in the Farellones/El Colorado ski area. We strive to offer guests a genuine mountain experience. Aside from cabin rental, we offer horse, snow shoe and ATV tours, ski rental services, transfers, tour packages, bon-fire nights, etc. Our small team has been operating the business for 2 seasons and we are currently expanding the lodge.
-Responding to incoming bookings from multiple tourism sites in a courteous and timely manner (English/Spanish/Portuguese)
-Managing reservation schedule and deposits paid throughout the year
-Coordinating with maintenance, cleaning and store/rental staff regarding client requests/arrivals
-Responding to all and any client queries regarding property, tours, rentals, transfers
-Updating and coordinating with travel sites such as booking.com, regarding promotions, etc.
-Liaising with management and staff regarding expected arrivals
-Assisting in developing/executing marketing plan in Chile and internationally
-Managing expenses for the property and preparing receipts/invoices for external accountant (cabana rental/equipment rental/transfers/tour operations)
-Greeting clients, taking payments during season
-Record keeping for the lodge and preparing regular reports to management
The ideal candidate will:
-Be willing to live Farellones from May 15– October Protected content included
-Live in the Santiago area and have the right to work in Chile
-Speak fluent Spanish and English (basic Portuguese ideal)
-Have a university degree in tourism/business administration or related area
-Preferably with experience in the tourism industry
-Be professional and courteous, and have experience in client facing situations
-Be willing to commit to the role for at least one year (preferably more)
-Be a strong team player and willing to work within a start-up business
