Brazilian films screened with English Subtitles (São Paulo)

BRASIL TELA PARA TODOS - PERSPECTIVAS CONTEMPORANEAS will screen BRAZILIAN FILMS WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES - at CCBB SP

Hi everybody! I'm producing a film showing for Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil with Brazilian contemporary films. In one Sunday per month starting on next Sunday and up to May Protected content , CCBB will be showing three titles divided in themes and genres that aim at providing the audience with new insights over the recent Brazilian cinematographic production. Except for October, in all months, the last film of the day will be screened with English subtitles to give an opportunity to all non speaking Portuguese expats to get closer to Brazilian cinema and culture.

A classical from the new generation of Brazilian films after Protected content national film industry recovery.
16h Protected content (SANTIAGO, P&B, 35mm, 80 min., G) - João Moreira Salles
Documentary about Santiago, a peculiar man who used to work for the director and his parents as a butler. The material was filmed in Protected content , it was only in Protected content he actually edited the film, turning it to something completely different from what he had planned.
18h - O SOM AO REDOR (NEIGHBORING SOUNDS, cor, 35mm, Protected content ., 16+, English Subtitles) - Kléber Mendonça Filho
The film entered the list of top films of Protected content by film critic Anthony Oliver Scott from The New York Times.
Life in a middle-class neighborhood in present day Recife, Brazil, takes an unexpected turn after the arrival of an independent private security firm.
