Florianopolis in April - worth it? (São Paulo)

Hi Guys,
A friend of mine has been offered a house to use over the Easter break in Floripa, and she's invited me too. I've been to Floripa in October before and it was a little chilly and a lot of places were still closed.
Does anyone know what the weather and atmosphere will be like there in April? Online it says the weather is usually 20 degrees? But will bars/club/places still be open etc?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
