Housing help! (São Paulo)

Hi There!

I'm just wondering if anyone out there has any tips on how to find a place to rent? I'm happy to rent a room within a house or a small apartment...all depending on cost of course. Any help would be greatly appreciated....sometimes it's tricky knowing where to start!

I've been in Sao Paulo for a couple of months now but still consider myself a 'newbie' as I've spent more time out of the country with work.
Unfortunately I haven't had chance to go to any events yet due to my schedule but this should change soon and I look forward to meeting some great people!
