Leaving Sao Paulo and Shipping (São Paulo)

If anyone can help this would be really useful.
On moving to Sao Paulo and starting a job nearly 3 years ago, my company paid for me to ship out a few things including furniture.
I am now in a situation where I may leave the country in the next few months.

However, I have been informed that I will now have to take out of the country all the belongings that I entered with.
As my company are not paying this would cost me around Protected content dollars.
I therefore would just like to sell everything but I am told that this is impossible because it is all registered with the Receita Federal.

Does anyone know my options?
Is there a way for me to be free up these items so I can sell them?
I probably will not have time to get a permanent visa...
