Moving soon to Sp (São Paulo)

We are a family with two teens of 14 y_o, and will be living in Sao Paulo soon.
My husband will start his new position there in January and we will go as soon as the kids have a school confirmed.
He will be working in Guarulhos and some of his colleagues are living in Barueri.
Do you know that area? Is it good for living with kids? Are there internationals schools in Barueri?

I will appreciate any comment you can have.

We have been told that there are schools that start the course in February and others in August, similar to Europe...
