Moving to São Paulo in Jan/Feb

Hi! My husband and I are moving to SP in Jan/Feb. We'll both be working in both Brooklin and São Bernardo de Campo. Any suggestions on neighborhoods to live in? We're leaning towards Moema (bird side) or Brooklin. I was also wondering if most people buy or lease a car.
