Retail Channel Marketing Manager- San Francisco (Seattle)

The Retail Channel Marketing Manager will be a major contributor to drive GoPro’s overall business success; driving channel marketing with strategic planning, positioning and product differentiation for GoPro’s product offerings in the retail space.
Key Position Accountabilities:
Drive integrated channel marketing for the overall GoPro retail business while looking for opportunities to create synergies and mutual successes across GoPro’s retail business.
Deliver results that achieve or exceed targeted goals for assigned accounts.
Work in partnership with stakeholders to communicate the strategic vision of what GoPro’s presence should be in assigned retailers and drive initiatives that support the vision.
Elevate brand awareness and engage in promotional activities that speak to each retailer’s core customers, in order to drive sales that achieve GoPro’s and retailer’s objectives.
Engage stakeholders in annual planning process and be responsible for leading, influencing GoPro’s cross-functional teams in support of GoPro's business objectives and customer objectives.
Ensure the company alignment in program rollouts being able to enforce timelines on projects by establishing dates, managing key retailer contact lists, communicating with resources specific to assigned accounts, and being the point of contact for the Sales and Marketing teams with regards to each project.
Drive the sell-thru of GoPro products with retailers and online locations.
Develop and deliver innovative marketing programs to retailers and make product-specific recommendations for product placement and promotions; by specific interactive display features, recommending planogram layouts, offering exclusive bundles, in-store promotions, etc.
Utilize business analytics to measure success of programs and make modifications and recommendations for future programs, conduct based performance analysis and communicate insights to key decision-makers to help shape the future of the business.
Be the subject matter expert on the opportunities, challenges and processes for assigned accounts.
Maintain a constant awareness of the competitive environment and opportunities in assigned retailers and bring forward innovative ideas for promoting GoPro products.
Create on-going presentation resources for Sales Account Managers to help sell-in products and initiatives.
Required Knowledge / Skills
Proven strong marketing leader - a planner and a closer.
Solid organizational skills; understands roles and responsibilities of the cross-functional team and fully engages other partners to achieve objectives. Strong collaborator who removes bottlenecks.
Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills. PowerPoint Pro.
Process oriented with strong project management skills.
Business analysis skills; able to track business and tie back to promotional/marketing tactics.
*Up to 50% travel. Position located in Half Moon Bay, CA
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related experience.
At least 6 years consumer electronics experience or relevant market with demonstrated history of accomplishment in the areas of channel marketing, product marketing, project management, or sales management. Experienced in developing and managing joint and coop funded marketing programs with retailers.
Category experience or retail buying/planning experience.
