Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine for Adults (Seoul)

Hello all,

My son has just had his live japanese encephalitis vaccine here- all good and no side-effects so far! I spoke to the doctor at an international centre here and she was a bit reluctant to give me the dead vaccine for grown-ups here. She said that as all Koreans got the vaccine as children that they didn't need to have the grown-up vaccine. Does anyone have any experience on getting a vaccine in Korea?

The doctor recommended I got ixiaro but they don't have this available in Korea unfortunately.

Any advice much appreciated.
