I have recently completed my studies (Masters in Human Rights and Democratisation in the Asia Pacific) from the University of Sydney and in the process of looking for a job.
I have prior work experience as an English editor and translator working for both public and private institutions in Korea (e.g. Korean Foreign Affairs Ministry, Ministry of Education, LG Electronics, etc.).
My interests lie in migration in the Asia Pacific, migrant workers, asylum seekers & refugees - particularly on women.
I've also recently returned from Indonesia where I spent a couple months as part of my Master's program working also with a local ngo specializing in the rights of Indonesian migrant workers.
I am keen to find work at an NGO, research institutions or within the government where I can engage in further research on the issue of migration within the Asia Pacific.
I am fluent in English & Korean and have an advanced knowledge of Japanese.
If you know of any relevant positions would appreciate it if you could let me know.
