I'm seeking a full-time translator/interpreter for at least a one-year project (English-Korean, Korean-English).
The hired candidate would translate books, articles, studies for a public policy research institute located in Yoido, also help with interpretation at occasional events. This is part of a funding proposal to one of our supporters so we need to agree in advance about the salary, other job requirements. During the application process we would need to know how many books you believe you could translate in one year, that is part of the grant proposal.
Prefer candidates in Seoul or nearby but will consider candidates throughout the world. Very relaxed company, flexible schedule, can negotiate how often you would come into the office if you are local, Skype or other methods if you are not.
Please email both a short introduction (just one or two paragraphs) and a resume in English and Korean.
Share this with any friends of yours who might be interested.
