Expat banking (Canada-Spain) (Seville)

Hi, I am a Canadian new to Sevilla. To get Euros, I've been using my Canadian debit card at Spanish ATMs to access my Canadian bank account. High fees and bad exchange rates. Considered bank transfer but entails a lot of paper work, time and higher fees. Also, looked into Evo bank with it's no fees account but it needs regular minimum monthly desposit of Protected content . Others recommended TransferWise but it doesn't deal in CAD.

Anyone with advice on expat banking in Spain be appreciated. Thanks.
