Business Internships (Shanghai)

Hi everyone! I'm a student from texas currently studying abroad in Shanghai. I'm trying to obtain a summer internship but was wondering if the procedures are any different from that of the US? I'm not too sure about beginning my search without prior knowledge and was wondering if anyone could give input or advice, I'd truly appreciate it. Thanks!
