cats and permanent residence in Shanghai

Dear All, I am just arrived and shortly after me will be my wife and 2 adorable young cats, it seems they are a package, the wife I have sorted, the felines are proving more complex (can you imagine??). Does anyone have any contacts, knowledge or experience of bringing their beloved pets into Shanghai? Thank you in advance.
