Company Registration & Invoicing (Shanghai)

Hi Everybody,

I wanted to ask if anyone of you has gone through the process of registering their own company in China? I am looking into that for the past few days and I must say Im quite confused - there are a lot of companies providing consulting services for foreigners on the topic, but they give me controversial information and I wonder who should I trust?
If someone has done that already either through a company or by yourself, please share what was your experience. Any recommendations and suggestions are welcome.

The type of business is graphic design services and actually all I need is just to be able to invoice to Chinese companies
