Feeling like giving up (Shanghai)

I went to Shanghai and it was excellent, I loved every moment I was there and even landed myself a possible job.

The problems here in XXXX persist. There is no guarantee that they will give me my pay check because they are worried I will leave (due to the condition they put me in with the visa, accommodation etc). This means gathering enough money for my stay in Shanghai - another 10,000RMB I don't have.

Is it worth it taking this out of my savings? The school is demanding, the company is unhelpful, the apartment is still broken and my bedroom still leaks. I'm starting to hate every moment here.

My other option is to just go home. I don't really want to give up on China but everything here is starting to get to me and I just want to leave.
