Great internship opportunity - Sales Associate (Shanghai)

We are looking for a self-motivated sales profile to join our company. It's an excellent opportunity for networking and earning five digits per month.

Availability: at least 4 days a week for 3-­6 months

Zhaoliang is a managed independent sales network that serves Clients across sectors to generate sales and extend market reach. We are experienced in the renewables, education, supply chain and real estate sectors; and we work with blue chip clients, reputed institutions and prodigious networkers.

China remains an attractive territory to enter or expand. Yet, with the rise of employment cost, companies consider lower fixed cost alternatives such as appointing independent sales agents.
Zhaoliang has established nationwide sales network and is based in Shanghai.

Purpose of the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to promote Zhaoliang Sales Generator to existing and new prospects to retain Zhaoliang as an independent sales force.

The secondary purpose is to liaise with the Zhaoliang Clients and Principals to ensure the quality of communication and project management.

The third purpose is to induct and train sales agents in different regions to make them productive when promoting the Principal's products or services.

Role and Candidate Profile
This is a part-­time/ full­time internship role; it's both a conduit to help grow the business and a stepping stone for the incumbent to develop the company culture to become a dedicated or independent Sales Generator.

This is a role for a natural networker and people oriented individual; someone who love to communicate and interact with others and is at ease selling and dealing with objections from demanding and successful people.

Domestic travel will be very limited as the role requires a local focus to network in Shanghai at Chinese language events and every now and again at English language events. The interactive online tools also will be used to save the time on the road and track the process.

Initial tasks
1. Research on Chamber directory to identify prospects
2. Identify other sources of data, analyse and share details of best fit prospects to
3. Promote Zhaoliang Sales Generator or its Principals’ solutions
4. Coordinate with the Principals’ teams and complement their project management
process with Clients’ perspective
5. Induct and train sales agents on the Principals’ background, products and services
6. Manage the details in a secure cloud based CRM

Reporting schedule
1. Weekly formal review of report and discussion via WeChat/similar
2. Update CRM daily

1. RMB 10,000 cash bonus on completion of the six months internship
2. 10% commission for successful introductions or 30% for successful deal closing (average net revenue per
project: RMB 200,000)
3. Reimbursements on transport, networking events, and client meetings; Reimbursement on housing can be considered for exceptional performers
4. Support on visa applications for foreigners
5. Flexible working hours and location; hot desks available at the naked Hub ­ Beer, coffee,

6. Mentorship from the General Manager and Board of Advisors
