grow vegetable in sh (Shanghai)

Hi!
My new place got a 60 square metres terrace, i plan to grow my own "organic" vegetable there, i dont have any experience though, rightnow what kind of vegetable is the easist and fastest to grow? i want to have tomato, garlic, and some herbs.
