Indian Spices (Shanghai)

Hi everyone,

I've just returned to Shanghai after 2 yrs back in the UK where I took to cooking lots of indian food. I'd like to minimise the impact moving back to Shanghai has on my mostly vegitarian diet as much as possible (I say mostly because its impossible to be completely vegitarian with a Chinese family and eating out in local restaurants, where fish, prawns and spam are apparently not meat!) so here's my question:

Can anyone tell me where I can find commonly used spices in indian cuisine? Things like turmeric, corriander seeds, and garam masalla I've had no luck at all tracking down. Looked in city shop, carrefore and the like, but was wondering if there's any places I'm missing.
