Moving to Hangzhou in August (Shanghai)

Hello!
Wanted to introduce myself to the Shanghai group!
Im currently in graduate studies in the states, going for a Masters in International Studies with a focus on Chinese business. I will be living, teaching and studying (writing my thesis) in Hangzhou. Should arrive around the end of August and will be staying a year or more. I am interested in building an international business network, and thus am keen to be involved in the Shanghai Internations events. While living in Baku and St.Petersburg, I found the events quite helpful-especially when I was new-so am looking forward to meeting some (many?) of you in a few months.

When not studying...I climb and run-any outdoor types have tips/suggestions? :)
