Role's Mission:
Outside Sales Associates are primarily on the field generating leads, engaging in customer meetings, and driving opportunities to close.

• Find new customers and generate new contracts
• Network by attending events, conferences, workshops, and etc.
• Maintain a strong pipeline
• Focus on assigned area of deployment—either by country, region, vertical, or level (mixed)
• Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge to build creditability
• Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and expand business volume
• Meet/exceed sales quotas
• Determine customer requirements and expectations and recommend specific solutions
• Drive an effective sales process, from qualifying leads, to pricing, to negotiations, to closing
• Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling and up-selling
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
• Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures
• Prepare cost savings comparisons and risk management contracts
• Focuses on China’s market—local companies, JVs, and WOFEs

• Bachelor Degree or above
• 2-5 years professional sales experience
• Consistent achievement of sales quotas
• Consistent achievement of forecasted revenue targets (ie. achieving consistent forecast accuracy)
• Highly motivated and results oriented
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to communicate to a variety of audiences, e.g. IT director and executive level
• Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
• Hunter mentality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision
• Aggressiveness, go after what is important; moves quickly while being polite
• Disciplined, do everything as needed, when needed, for all sales processes
• Tactful, ability to call customers about difficult issues like problems & payment
• Creative Thinking, thinks about what is heard from customers to find solutions
• Persistence, demonstrates the willingness and tenacity to go the distance to get something done
• Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
