Schools recommendations for 8 year old (Shanghai)

Hello,
I will be moving to Shanghai with my wife and 8 year old son. We are making a look and see visit in August to look at potential housing and schools. I will be working in the French concession but want to be close to the school for my son. Ideally I'd like to find a school close to my work but not sure what options there are. Any insights are appreciated:

1. Schools with the best reputation in Shanghai.
2. Specific feedback on the Shanghai Livingston School and the Shanghai Community International School in Hong Qiao.
