Shanghai InterNations community

Hello, I am somewhat new to Shanghai, having moved here from Beijing late last year. I know my way around Shanghai a bit from many previous visits but now I am learning to be a resident as opposed to a tourist.

I was hoping for some input from the Shanghai InterNations community. To my surprise I see there´s not much going on here - or is there and I´m missing it?

Alexandre, I don´t know yet if I´ll be here for CNY or not.

Even though I am German, I certainly don´t qualify as a trend reporter ;-) A bit old for that. Anyway, if anybody out there has any input for me, let me have it. I love Chinese painting, excursions, language. While I am here, I will most likely not be working,.

And, no offense Mr. Ambassador, but your comment is "Happy Halloween" - should that tell me you haven´t been on site since then?

Now please, no criticism intended - after all, I´m the new kid on the block.
