travel groups? (Shanghai)

I've been here for a few months and have not done as much traveling as I would have liked. Interested in taking some weekend trips to Japan and throughout China and looking for some travel buddies so I dont have to take on cities alone! Let me know if anyone is interested in traveling or does anyone know of any groups that set up trips for people to join? When I lived in Europe there were tons of them!
