University education in Shanghai

My daughter will be leaving to go on a gap year,teaching English in Shanghai in Aug 14
She is fluent in Mandarin and Japanese having taught herself both languages and went on to sit for GCSE/A'Level chinese
She has indicated she would want to stay back after her gap year to go on to university,has anyone got any experience how she can further her education in China
Will she be entitled to scholarship(s)
She will be taking the HSK exam in Britain after her 'A' levels before she goes of on her gap year
Expecting some replies from anyone who has under taken this route
