Visiting Shanghai in June

I am an IN member in Houston, Texas and plan to visit Shanghai in June (4th thru the 12th) with the MBA school...Are there any nice events going on at the time including IN events? Also, does anyone can recommend a good tour guide. I'm considering to extend the stay to visit other cities such as Tibet, Beijing and possibly Thailand or Vietnam...Thanks!
