Currently she is the principal investigator (PI) and Co-PI for three active research studies.

Dr. Crenshaw serves as chair of the United States Breastfeeding Committee (USBC),acoalition of more than 50 organizations that support its mission to drive collaborative efforts for policy and practices that create a landscape of breastfeeding support across the United States.
