Digital Content Strategist (Urgent!) (Shenzhen)

Job Description:

The Contest Strategist will be in charge of the management and development of content for our customer engagement app. They will also be trained in order to become familiar with the complete product portfolio of products and services at Alcatel that includes (but not limited to) digital creative, social media, digital media, mobile and web technologies, performance & analytics.

A strong work ethic, professional attitude and desire to excel within a high-growth environment are expected. A fun character is a strong plus. This position is based in Shenzhen, China.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall Alcatel mobile content strategy, planning and execution.
Content acquisition:
Have an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of potential content – documentaries (educational/non-educational), music, gadgets and trending lifestyles.
Identify and conduct market analysis on content popularity and suitability to meet our company’s objectives – Alcatel’s goal is to provide quality offerings to our audience and we want to position ourselves to meet the growing demand for alternative choices.
Follow up closely with content owners (internal and external) on content strategy and partnership.
Content planning:
Prepare marketing plans with comprehensive details including target markets, promotional activities, potential partners, and execution methods.
Meeting marketing submission timeline as and when required by management.
Able to present partnership ideas to potential partners independently.
Provide content updates to local partners to generate press publicity and encourage media contests and promotions.
To ensure all marketing materials are well planned and prepared, and delivered to local countries in a timely manner. Manage the regional feedback accordingly and translate into execution.
Content execution:
Create an execution checklist and ensure all content and campaigns are carried out smoothly.
Ensure all involved departments are well prepped, communicate well and agree on the offerings or promotions planned.
Post-mortem analysis
Conduct an event or screening post-analysis in detail – for internal and content owners.
Present analysis to management and provide feedback on the content and campaign performances.
Provide constructive suggestions on proposals to improve the upcoming content and campaigns.
Responsible for scheduling Alcatel dedicated mobile content platform posting strategy. Creating engaging content with our Alcatel users and rewarding them accordingly.
Have a good understanding of loyalty programs and marketing campaign processes and capabilities.
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision and be a team player at the same time.

Qualification
Proficient in utilizing social/digital insights to better create relevant and engaging content on all social/digital platforms.
Experience in writing, editing, proofing and publishing online is preferred.
Results focused, with a strong commercial acumen, self-motivated and driven to take initiative.
Highly organized, with excellent time-management skills and able to respond positively to changing priorities.
Enthusiastic, proactive individual with a "can do attitude" who can work at all levels with a high level of attention to detail.
Works to a high standard and has inquisitive nature, with a desire to learn.
Ability to deliver work on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Desired but not essential
Bachelor’s Degree, Masters or equivalent in the field of Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business Development, Public Relations, Journalism and Content Development.
Branding or marketing background, preferably with smartphones or mobile APPs.
Basic graphic design skill with Adobe Photoshop experience.
2 to 3 years of experience in a related field.
