Future new member of Shenzhen Internation Communit

Dear Shenzhen Internations, after 8 years spent in Barcelona Spain, I will move for professionnal oportunity to Shenzhen from beginning of August.
As I have mainly now idea of where I am going to, I will apreciate some advices from other Shenzhen internations member. First 2 basic questions, does someone can tell me where I can find the transport network from the city and outside, and where can I have any presentation of the accomodation there (in order to have an idea of the budget by zone).
I will work in Guanlan, any advice is welcome, even if I will for sure receive some help from my company, but if I can have a look before leaving...
Last, I will for sure apreciate to join you to any Internation get together, to meet new people and make new friends.
