Operations Manager - Qube China (Shenzhen)

We are requiring an Operations Manager for our Qube China joint venture to manage a small team.

Experience:
- Working in culturally diverse environment
- Working with autonomy from direct management
- Customer service management experience
- From a logistics or international business background preferably
- Focusing and managing small teams
- A deep understanding of the components in a supply chain
- Mandarin language skills – ILR Level 4
- English language skills – ILR Level 5
- Experience in managing staff
- Experience in communicating and liasing with people from various countries such as Australia and the United States of America

- Focused on understanding a customers requirements before suggesting improvements to a customer

Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of customer service and administration staff
- Resolve operational and communication issues arising during the day
- Receive and implement strategy from Qube China Directors
- Collate and distribute monthly financial and operational reporting
- Visit customers/suppliers in China with a view to improving their supply chain efficiency
- Attend networking functions held by Customer and Suppliers
- Maintain and improve client and supplier relationships
- Proactively grow the profitability of the Qube China business
- Maintain and improve internal relationships and communication between Qube China, Qube USA, Qube Australia and Lasso
- Reporting to the JV Partner
- identify and facilitate staff career growth opportunities
