Advice needed on mobile phone and bank account ope (Singapore)

Hi,

I would be moving to Singapore in the last week of August.
I need some help from the forum members on two things :

1. Which bank to open an account with?
Protected content am looking for a bank account which provides an account with low minimum balance requirement and low fees on transfer of funds to India.

2. What mobile phone connection (prepaid / postpaid) and which telecom provider (starhub, singtel or M1) to go with ?
My primary calling would be to India - around 60 mins per day, and would also need data access - roughly 2 GB per month.
