American Club Membership- info and price? (Singapore)

Hi, Has anyone joined the American Club, is it worth it? I've checked out the website and the dues are about Protected content including the monthly dues. If anyone has any information or has been there and tried the restaurants and food and experienced the facilities as well as talked to some people, I would greatly appreicate any tips.
I also heard that people can sell their memberships any idea where I would go to find people selling the memberships? I tried google search but no luck. Thanks.
