Blackmail ... (Singapore)

Dear Singapore Community,
I come to you with a very personal issue & would like to send out a warning that can please be passed on. My husband was on business with 4 other Dutch colleagues in Nov Protected content . On Jan Protected content , I received a WhatsApp message with photos of my husband and two Singaporean prostitues in a very intimate situation in his hotel room. One of the women - calls herself Geraldine has been messaging him ever since and now with “demands” for birthday gifts. It is not clear how either of our mobile numbers are in their possession (probably went on his phone when he was sleeping?) however, the demands to me are now for $100K or they contact his company. Seems they have his business card. I have already contacted authorities locally and in Singapore. I am interested to know if this is a common occurrence?
