Car pooling? Ride share? (Singapore)

Hello,

A rather question that I don't see any existing info on. Does the practice of car pooling or ride sharing exist in Singapore? Specifically, is there anyone out there who commutes from the East Coast to the CBD after 9 who would be interested in having their ride in to work subsidized by a low key Canadian heading to tanjong pagar but willing to stop at Raffles or City Hall.
