Discovering Singapore this weekend

I'm going to be arriving in Singapore late tonight and spending ten days there.

I'm planning on spending this weekend getting to know the city and getting acclimatised to the culture.

Anyone want to explore with me or show me around? I'm less interested in tourist attractions and more interested in getting a feel for real life in the city.
