It's raining outisde and I've lost my umbrella! (Singapore)

Hi there! I am new to Singapore and was just wondering if any of you could help me with umbrellas.

I have lost track of how many of them I've bought since I lived in London and now Singapore -- most of them break. I thought I'd ask here to see if there are any particular umbrellas you would recommended.

I'm looking for a light, durable, and smallish umbrella (being able to fit in my purse is a huge plus). Maybe you can recommend a good umbrella store, too?
