Moving to Singapore - Nanny/Maid and Apartment q's

Hi everyone,
My family and I are moving to Singapore next month for work. We have a 5 month old daughter who will need day care from Monday to Friday. Does everyone get a maid to help out with child care or can you hire a day nanny/babysitter? What's the best option price and convenience-wise?
We are also looking for a 2 to 3 bedroom apartment close to Pioneer Primary school in Jurong West. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good real estate agent or could help out in someway?
