Need Advice from Native Mexicans / Mexican Foodies (Singapore)

Hi!

I've never been to Mexico myself so I thought if I can find anybody who loves Mexican food or are native Mexicans, I'd love to pick your brain for an advice or two about your local food culture and local entertainment and activities.

Some of the things I would love to know about are what are the local food truly enjoyed by Mexicans but are not yet found here in Singapore, what is the bar scene like and what are some local words or phrases Mexicans like to use.
