New comers experience - bank account & mobile (Singapore)

I just want to mark here if you're relocating to Singapore and need to open a bank account and a mobile number (post-paid). Please avoid OCBC bank if you haven't received your official EP card yet. They won't give you account even you have IPA letter and notification letter. They also ask to provide billing address approvals which telephone bill will do. Otherwise, you have to provide leasing contracts. I went there for the second time and couldn't have it done. Another foreigner also was asked to provide leading contract. DBS is ok to serve for you with your IPA, though interest rate is lower.
For mobile, if you want to have a post-paid contract, please avoid M1 even they're cheaper than SingTel. They will ask for EP card also.
