potential job offer in SIN (Singapore)

Hello Singapore Exapts/Locals :)

Apologies if this has been asked here before but I was struggling to find information in terms of single bachelor/young expat..

I am 24 and I may be getting a chance to move to SIN soon within my company for relocation. I just want to know is it actually true when they say it is the most expensive city on earth? lol rent? car? taxi?

Is Protected content dollar/monthly a good salary to survive for now? Also, I am an easy going guy and love to make friends from around the world..is it a good city to explore and hang out? or people intend to stay within their groups..

Any info would be highly appreciated plus a free drink when I arrive :D
