REAL ESTATE SALES PERSON (Singapore)

Hi All

Can anyone clarify whether a foreigner (with a defendant's pass) can actually assume the role of a real estate sales person?

Despite being in touch with the CEA there seems to be a lot of confusion here. Aparently anyone can sit the RES exam but I'm not sure if i'll be granted the the salesperson license or not.

Any help will be gratefully received.
