The Singapore International Foundation invites you to the 7th edition of Singapore Insights on 15 October Protected content .

Themed Renaissance City, join us to gain insights into Singapore’s development as a global city for culture and the arts. Dialogue with policy-experts on Singapore’s strategies, initiatives and progress as a culturally vibrant city. Visit institutions within Singapore’s art district and get to know Singapore artists. Thereafter, celebrate with us the first anniversary and coming of age of Singapore Insights.

Programme:

1.45pm, (Gather at) Ixora Room, Peranakan Museum, 39 Armenian St.

Dialogue on Singapore as a Renaissance City with:

· Protected content Purushothaman, Vice-President (Academic) & Provost, LASALLE College of the Arts

· Protected content Francis, Deputy Director (Visual Arts), National Arts Council

Thereafter, visit arts institutions like Sculpture Square to get to know and learn about Singapore artists and their works.

Reception to commemorate the 1st Anniversary of Singapore Insights

Partner for Good - Community Arts Project

Launch of community arts project with the Little Arts Academy - an opportunity for Singapore Insights participants to work with children in need of support to realise their potential in the arts.

Singapore Insights is a series of thematic study visits and dialogues with experts and practitioners that brings participants to the heart of Singapore strategies, innovations and way of life. Initiated in Protected content , this SIF programme connects and enhances understanding between Singapore and world communities, enabling collaborations and the development of enduring relationships. The themes of previous editions of Singapore Insights include water, infocomm technology, social innovation and urban planning and biodiversity.
