some questions for my first visit to singapore (Singapore)

Hi,

I'm leaving for Singapore next week for travelling, and still have a couple of questions.

1) do you know where can I get a second-handed LP India? I will travel in india after singapore and need to find some more recent version of Lonely Planet India. I have one published in Protected content hand, a bit out-of-date. if I can find some newer version, low price, would be great!

2) I know I can buy india rupees in Singapore, but can I exchange it with my leftover philippine peso? a lot left from my last trip..

3) any cool event in town in early January? concert, performance? looking forward to holiday!
