Tips on where to live with young family (Singapore)

We have just moved from Amsterdam to Singapore last Tuesday, April 1st and are now living in a serviced apartment. We have continued our house hunt the last few days, but find it hard to decide where and how to live. Can anyone give me some tips?

We are a young Dutch family, my husband and me and our one year old twins. Looking for a ground floor place where the kids can play outside on the patio, where we can meet people, MRT close by and somewhere to walk to to have a coffee. Am I asking for too much?
