What are the ups and downs in Singapore

Hi InterNation friends,

My name is Jenny. I moved to Hong Kong from U.S. for about a year now. I am pretty sick and tired of long working hours in Hong Kong and dealing with rude locals ( I am a chiropractor working in private clinic). My boyfriend and I are seriously thinking about move to Singapore for another year before we move back to states and settle down.

So future friends in Singapore, if you could share your ups and downs in Singapore on this forum it can really help us to set the expectation for Singapore. Thank you and hopefully I can meet some of you guys during the InterNations gathering.
