Where to Live? (Singapore)

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be moving to Singapore in mid-Oct and have been researching a few neighbourhoods & condos, but I'm struggling with deciding if I should live in the city, or closer to work (near the Holland MRT or even near the Haw Par Villa/Pasir Panjang MRTs). I'm looking for a 1 bedroom (newer) condo with a modern feel. I definitely appreciate greenery & having a park nearby, but don't want to be too far from the action on weekends. Not looking to pay any more than $3,500 a month...

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Really appreciate the help!
