Call for help / donate (Skopje)

My dear InterNations friends,

Holidays are coming soon. Christmas and New Year, time for forgiveness, love, gifts, hope… Time to spend with family, time for relaxing, tasteful food, music, hugs. Keep in mind that many people this year will spend their holidays on their way onto better future. Many children will stay out, no Santa, no gifts, no Christmas three… but no food, no clothes, only fear and coldness.

Can we do anything to help? Empathy, compassion, generosity are all the trait that make us human being. We have a great chance to show it.

Refugee crisis is global question, but acting locally could have great impact. Some of our InterNations members are already engaged in helping refugees on borders (northern and southern) but the need for help and donations is permanent. I am sure there is a people who could help so please note the following information (relating to northern border – Tabanovce).

Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, an American NGO lead by Jeff Lee gathering volunteers able to contribute or to donate. If someone would like to enjoy to volunteer or is able to donate clothes please contact Monica Cornelison IN member for coordination and more information. The most needed stuffs are: socks, gloves, hats, warm clothes. Please donate, even a simple collection could be life saving for these people.
